A law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney - E & I and Finance for its Sacramento office. The candidate will support the firm's innovation efforts to enhance the delivery of legal services, focusing on the E&I and Finance business units. This role involves developing and improving practice content, leading projects to streamline service delivery, integrating AI into legal practice, and evaluating opportunities to improve client service.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and automate precedent libraries, coordinate creation of new precedent, and organize deal documents and libraries.
  • Identify relevant practice content and integrate third-party resources and forms into practice workflows.
  • Lead projects to develop and improve client-facing solutions and streamline the delivery of legal services.
  • Oversee the firm's data strategy, digitalize the practice, and develop best practices for resource allocation.
  • Serve as a resource for practice resource questions, support technology onboarding, and oversee training curriculum.
  • Integrate AI into legal practice, automate workflows and documents, and evaluate opportunities to improve service delivery.
  • Regularly evaluate efficient service delivery through data analysis and market trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Educate legal professionals on practice content, client solutions, firm resources, and technology initiatives.
  • Communicate and consult with administrators, lawyers, and staff on efficiency, client solutions, and technology projects.
  • Develop case studies for marketing and business development, and maintain portal pages and resources for the business unit.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college.
  • Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience as an E&I attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with technology to manage workflows, documents, and communications.
  • Understanding of knowledge management, practice management, and efficiency best practices.
  • Enthusiasm about legal technology, including AI and generative AI.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and diplomacy skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited university or college.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
