A law firm in Charlotte, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with 2-10 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have a federal clerkship background, distinguished academic credentials, superior writing and analytical capabilities, and experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing. The position offers meaningful involvement in ongoing litigation cases on a national scale.

 

Duties:

  • Participate in all aspects of complex commercial litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, including Electronic Discovery.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy.
  • Manage caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.

 

Requirements:

  • Federal clerkship background preferred.
  • Distinguished academic credentials.
  • Superior writing and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in Electronic Discovery and federal court writing highly desirable.
  • Valid law license mandatory.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Valid law license.

 

Skills:

  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in complex commercial litigation preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Discovery and federal court procedures.
