The candidate will draft patent applications and prosecute applications through the . Patent and Trademark Office, specializing in electronics, semi-conductors, circuitry, optics, and lasers.
 
Duties:
• Draft patent applications and prosecute applications through the . Patent and Trademark Office.
• Conduct technical research using available resources to support patent-related matters.
• Work on assignments from multiple partners and clients, meeting and managing internal and client-driven deadlines.
• Provide technical expertise to assist clients in protecting their technology with patents.
• Collaborate with attorneys and inventors to develop patent strategies.
 
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in a relevant field.
• Should have 24 years of experience drafting patent applications.
• Specialization in electronics, semi-conductors, circuitry, optics, or lasers.
• Registered to practice in front of the . Patent and Trademark Office.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, strong writing skills, and analytical skills.
 
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
• Registration to practice in front of the . Patent and Trademark Office.
• If appropriate, licensed to practice law in their respective state.
