Responsibilities: - Provide counsel on civil litigation, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations. - Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations. - Develop and implement strategies to defend litigation claims and regulatory investigations. - Supervise outside counsel and collaborate with other members of OGC to deliver high-quality legal representation. - Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues. - Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters. Qualifications: - Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department. - JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the . - Experience in defending complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms, professional organizations, or financial institutions preferred. - Ability to manage multiple litigations and projects simultaneously with strategic thinking and high ethical standards. - Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. - Demonstrated collaboration skills and client-service orientation. - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
