A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Associate Attorney with specific qualifications, including 3-5 years of state and federal court litigation experience, California Bar admission, excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Clerkship experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must be admitted and actively barred in the state in which they live and also be actively barred in California.

Duties:

• Represent clients in consumer financial services litigation matters in state and federal courts.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to build strong cases.
• Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Appear in court to argue motions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies.
• Offer legal advice and guidance on regulatory compliance in the consumer financial services industry.
• Maintain organized case files and documents for efficient case management.
• Stay informed about developments in consumer financial services laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of state and federal court litigation experience.
• California Bar admission.
• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Superior research and writing ability.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Clerkship experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in the state where the candidate resides.
• Active bar membership in California.
