A San Jose, CA, law firm seeks a Mid-level Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its transactional real estate group. The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in sophisticated transactional real estate matters, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating contracts related to property acquisition/disposition, leasing, and financing. Excellent academic credentials and exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills are essential.

Duties:

• Draft and negotiate contracts about property acquisition, disposition, leasing, and financing
• Provide legal advice and support on real estate transactions
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate laws and regulations
• Assist in due diligence investigations and property assessments
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop and implement legal strategies

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the State Bar of California or eligibility for registration as a California Registered In-House Counsel
• 3-7 years of experience in transactional real estate matters
• Strong understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices
• Excellent academic credentials
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of California or eligibility for registration as a California Registered In-House Counsel
