Position Summary:

The Tax Transformation Senior role at Deloitte is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative team within the Tax Transformation Office. This team is responsible for transforming client service delivery by focusing on people, process, and technology. The role requires a working knowledge of professional services and the end-to-end tax compliance engagement life cycle. As a Senior on the Service Delivery Transformation team, you will collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders to drive improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings.

Responsibilities:

- Apply agile and design thinking techniques to process analysis and design
- Engage with Tax professionals to understand client service pain points, assess opportunities, and deliver process improvement
- Decompose business requirements
- Collaborate throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
- Conduct user testing
- Perform business readiness assessments
- Prepare learning delivery and materials
- Drive adoption through change management and communication
- Analyze feedback and develop related action plans
- Decommission legacy systems
- Manage projects

The Team:

The Tax Transformation Office at Deloitte is responsible for defining delivery standards and processes to support the delivery of Tax services. The team consists of professionals from various backgrounds, including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals. They consult and execute on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design and deployment and adoption.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 3+ years of client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance related areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flow-Throughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on project work and phase of the delivery cycle
- Active accreditation as a CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certification
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications

Preferred:

- 3+ years of digital transformation experience
- Agile delivery and design thinking experience
- Business process analysis and design experience
- End-to-end technology project delivery
- Training delivery and post-production client facing support experience
- Strong focus on deployment, adoption and driving change
- Assist in the development of a tax technology strategy supporting tax compliance and provision platforms
- Experience in defining delivery standards
- Agile or PMP certification
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Process-driven thinking

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role takes into account a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic location. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the individual's qualifications and experience.

The estimated range for this role is $77,070 to $175,500.
