Job Overview: A law firm in Marysville, WA, is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Associate or Senior Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in client intake through claim resolution, litigation, and trial experience, as well as strong case management, negotiation, and settlement skills.

Duties:

• Conduct client intake interviews and assess potential cases
• Manage personal injury cases from inception to resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in negotiations with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Prepare for and participate in trials, arbitrations, and mediations
• Supervise and work closely with a team, including a paralegal and legal assistant

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in personal injury law
• An active member of the Washington State Bar in good standing
• Strong personal injury experience, including litigation and trial experience
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently
• Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead a team

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Washington State Bar
• Certification or experience in personal injury law is preferred.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software
