A law firm based in Irvine is seeking a Senior Employment Class Action Attorney to advocate for clients in cases involving employee misclassification, wage violations, and other worker rights violations. The candidate will play a pivotal role in fighting for clients' rights and securing favorable settlements and verdicts in employment-related class action lawsuits.

 

Duties:

  • Advocate for clients in employment class action cases, including employee misclassification, overtime wage violations, time-shaving, and failure to provide rest and meal breaks.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for court filings.
  • Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
  • Formulate compelling arguments and represent clients in wage and hour matters.
  • Utilize superior analytical and legal research skills to support case strategies.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintain active licensure and good standing with the California State Bar.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on employment class action litigation.
  • Proven track record of success in handling employment-related cases, including class actions.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities, both oral and written.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment.
