##Job Summary

As a Tax Manager on the Operational Partnership Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, financial products, oil & gas, green energy, real estate, consumer products, and other various industries. You will be responsible for delivering value to clients experiencing a public offering (including SPACs) and interacting with external counsel, underwriters, client executives, and capital market professionals through the SEC public filing process. In addition, you will assist clients with public offering transactions, create cutting-edge technology, lead engagement teams, and mentor and develop engagement staff.

##Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other business-related field and at least 5 years of experience in federal partnership tax. You must also demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, have the ability to travel up to 25%, and have the ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.

Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree such as master’s in science of tax (MST), JD, or LLM; previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience; aptitude in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio; transaction and M&A experience; and Alteryx experience.

##Salary and Benefits

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $103,320 to $235,170. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program.
