A law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney for its Saint Louis, MO, location. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the firm's insurance company clients, their insureds, and corporate clients in various aspects of civil litigation.

Duties:

• Represent the firm's insurance company clients and their insureds and corporate clients in all facets of civil litigation.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support cases.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Manage cases independently and collaborate effectively within the case team.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Missouri State Bar.
• Prior experience in civil litigation.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Certifications:

• MO Bar License required.
