The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in commercial and corporate disputes, including practicing within the Court of Chancery. The role requires a strong academic background and excellent research, writing, and communication skills. The candidate will work on a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal courts and must be admitted to practice in Delaware.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of litigation matters, including commercial and corporate disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including preparing witnesses and exhibits.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communication.
  • Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.
  • Stay updated on developments in case law and legal trends.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial and corporate disputes, including practicing within the Court of Chancery.
  • Strong academic background with a JD from an accredited law school.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Admission to practice in Delaware.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice in Delaware.
