Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel and representation in estate planning matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax law, estate planning strategies, and related areas.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments.
  • Advise clients on tax implications and strategies for wealth preservation and asset distribution.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient and effective client service.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting estate planning.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate or better in Law.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in tax law and estate planning techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar (or eligibility for admission upon hire).
  • Additional certifications in tax law or estate planning (preferred).
