KPMG is seeking an experienced Executive Director to join our Office of General Counsel (OGC) as an Associate General Counsel-Litigation, providing legal support for our Litigation group. Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel on civil litigations, third-party subpoenas, and regulatory investigations
- Represent KPMG and its professionals in civil litigation proceedings and regulatory investigations
- Develop and implement strategies for defending litigation claims and regulatory investigations
- Supervise and collaborate with outside counsel and other members of OGC to ensure high-quality legal representation for the company
- Report to and consult with senior leadership on legal issues arising in litigation and regulatory matters
- Assist in developing financial projections for supervised matters

Qualifications:

- Minimum 18 years of experience in a well-regarded law firm or in-house legal department
- Experience with complex civil litigations and regulatory investigations involving accounting firms or financial institutions is a plus
- JD or LLM from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the US
- Experience serving within a regulatory or law enforcement agency is a plus, but not required
- Strong ability to manage multiple litigations and projects simultaneously, with strategic thinking and high ethical standards
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with a client-service orientation and the ability to build strong partnerships
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
