Job Title: State and Local Tax Experienced Staff- Credits & Incentives

Department: Tax Services Group

Experience Level: Minimum 1 year of related tax experience

Location: Seattle, WA (Other locations available)

Salary Range:

- Washington State: $59,000 - $85,000
- California State: $64,000 - $97,000
- Colorado State: $59,000 - $81,000
- Oregon State: $59,000 - $85,000
- Texas State: $52,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities:

- Assist with management of clients and their needs
- Participate in state and local tax consulting projects
- Conduct research and technical analysis of multistate tax issues
- Identify opportunities for clients and prospects
- Stay up-to-date on state and local tax law changes
- Participate in business development activities
- Develop internal and external relationships within the firm

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax or JD/LLM preferred
- CPA or licensed attorney preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related tax experience
- Previous experience with tax research and technical advice preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel as needed (approximately 20%)
