The Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney will play a crucial role in the firm's litigation team, gathering evidence, conducting legal research, and drafting documents to support clients in medical malpractice cases. They must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage a caseload effectively while meeting deadlines.

Duties:

• Gathering evidence and medical records in support of client strategy.
• Taking depositions of claimants, witnesses, medical experts, and other parties.
• Conducting discovery.
• Performing legal research to support case strategies.
• Remaining current with developments in medical malpractice laws.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
• Managing and tracking a volume caseload with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Negotiating effectively on behalf of clients.
• Working efficiently with corporate professionals.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience working in personal injury litigation.
• Must be licensed and able to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois.
• Prior experience in the legal field.

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the Missouri and Illinois State Bar.
