Duties:

  • Gathering evidence and medical records in support of client strategy.
  • Taking depositions of claimants, witnesses, medical experts, and other parties.
  • Conducting discovery.
  • Performing legal research to support case strategies.
  • Remaining current with developments in medical malpractice laws.
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
  • Managing and tracking a volume caseload with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Negotiating effectively on behalf of clients.
  • Working efficiently with corporate professionals.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working in personal injury litigation.
  • Must be licensed and able to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois.
  • Prior experience in the legal field.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Missouri and Illinois State Bar.

 

Skills:
