Overview of the Position:

The Senior Manager in Asset & Wealth Management Tax will play a crucial role in our Financial Services Tax practice at PwC. This position offers the opportunity to work with top clients in the asset and wealth management industry, providing tax consulting and compliance services while navigating the ever-changing tax environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Manager, you will be part of a team that helps solve complex business issues and provides strategic consulting related to tax impacts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Encouraging all team members to share their opinions and ideas.
• Effectively handling ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
• Engaging in open and honest coaching conversations at all levels.
• Balancing between big picture thinking and managing details.
• Anticipating stakeholder needs and discussing potential solutions.
• Contributing technical knowledge in your area of expertise.
• Creating an environment where people and technology work together to achieve more.
• Navigating the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
• Leading open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
• Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• CPA or Member of the Bar certification

Preferred Qualifications:
• Intimate knowledge of compliance and consulting for investment partnerships
• Considerable knowledge of alternative investment strategies and vehicles
• Comprehensive tax technical skills, including partnership tax forms
• Experience identifying and addressing client needs
• Success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and selling new services
• Knowledge of automation & digitization and experience in a professional services environment
• Ability to innovate and utilize technology to optimize engagements and pricing strategies
