A law firm in Phoenix is seeking a Mid- to Senior-level Commercial Litigation and Class Action Associate Attorney with strong communication, legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with an active license to practice law in the State of Arizona.

Job Overview:

• Handling commercial litigation matters and class action lawsuits
• Utilizing previous experience in class action litigation, if applicable
• Demonstrating strong communication and analytical skills

Duties:

• Representing clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and regulatory actions
• Handling class action lawsuits from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda, pleadings, and motions
• Analyzing complex legal issues and providing strategic advice to clients
• Negotiating settlements and participating in alternative dispute resolution proceedings
• Collaborating with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and client matters
• Managing competing deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in the State of Arizona
• Previous experience in commercial litigation and class action litigation preferred
• Strong communication, legal writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Business and entrepreneurial sense with the ability to manage competing deadlines

Certifications:

Active license to practice law in the State of Arizona
