A law firm is seeking a Corporate Attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join its team in Jackson, MS. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract law and will play a key role in handling various corporate legal matters.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on corporate transactions, contracts, and business operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements, including contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
• Advise clients on legal aspects of business strategy and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Handle legal aspects of commercial transactions, including financing arrangements and partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful business transactions.
• Stay abreast of changes in corporate law and industry practices.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.
• Strong understanding of contract law and corporate legal principles.
• Proven experience in handling corporate transactions and contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
