The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on representing financial institutions or in-house positions with financial institutions. This role requires admission to the California, Oregon, and/or Washington bar associations, or willingness and ability to gain such admission. About the Role: As Senior Counsel, you will provide legal counsel to various bank departments, with a focus on pending or threatened litigation, depository and branch operations, fraud and other financial investigations, and state law and federal regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and outside counsel to oversee active and threatened litigation, advise on deposit relationships and services, and serve as a subject matter expert on federal regulations and state laws related to the bank's business activities. Other responsibilities include advising on lending structure and documentation, staying up-to-date on regulation changes, and maintaining a working knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
