Job Details

Duties

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other transaction documents.
• Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.
• Providing strategic guidance and acting as an extension of client business teams.
• Collaborating effectively in a team-oriented and dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of private equity and mergers and acquisitions experience.
• Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail, and organizational, verbal, and project management skills.
• Good business and strategic judgment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills

• Proven experience in private equity and M&A.
• Ability to handle complex negotiations and transactions.
• Prior large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
