The Tax Senior Manager - Credits & Incentives position at Deloitte is a highly sought-after role for experienced tax professionals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, law, engineering, technology, or a related field, as well as 8+ years of experience in core federal tax compliance. Additionally, candidates must have one of the following active accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, Project Management Professional, Chartered Financial Advisor, or Professional Engineer.

The Tax Senior Manager will be responsible for managing federal credits and incentives opportunities, including Research and Development tax credit/deduction analyses, New Markets Tax Credit, Qualified Opportunity Zones, Renewable Energy tax credits, and other federal credit incentive service offerings. They will also leverage their technical skills to solve complex issues, demonstrate sound judgement and instincts in evaluating various opportunities, and provide guidance and mentorship to Consultants and Senior Consultants. The role will require the ability to travel up to 25% and to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.

The successful candidate will join Deloitte’s Global Investment & Innovation Incentives practice, a national team of specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax credit and incentive services. The team works with clients in a variety of industries and offers benefits for activities conducted in the United States, as well as research performed in over 30 other countries.
