Seattle office of our client seeks associate attorney with experience. The candidate will join estate planning, probate, and real estate practice areas. Will be responsible for advising and counseling clients on estate and trust matters, drafting documents to effectuate a plan, and other tasks as assigned. Also, be responsible for assisting with trust administration and handling probates including, drafting petitions, pleadings, notices, attending hearings, and advising and assisting personal representatives and estate administrators in the process of administering estates from opening the probate to closing the probate. Responsible for advising, counseling, and representing real estate clients in both transactional and litigation matters including drafting deeds, purchase and sale agreements, easements, and lease agreements as well as drafting demand letters, providing notices, drafting pleadings, appearing in Court for hearings, and advocating in court for clients. May fall outside of normal work hours including presentations to clients and potential clients, firm scheduled events, business networking events, and client meetings and signings. Experience as an attorney and/or paralegal is preferred. Must be WA licensed attorney (Bar required). Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Calendar, Zoom, Clio is preferred.
