A law firm in Glendale, CA, is seeking a Senior Plaintiff Litigation Attorney with a strong background in Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse Litigation. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing a caseload and handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, law and motion, depositions, and court appearances.

 

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff litigation matters, primarily focusing on Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with support staff, paralegals, and other attorneys within the firm.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience practicing law, with a focus on plaintiff litigation.
  • Proven experience handling Medical Malpractice and/or Elder Abuse litigation cases.
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures, rules of evidence, and court rules.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.
