This role will provide the opportunity to work with clients on a variety of business issues related to state and local tax laws, including restructuring, compliance, and communicating tax developments. Job Requirements and Preferences: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - 4+ years of experience in accounting or taxation - CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials - Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science (preferred) - Thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws, including multi-state income tax planning, compliance, and controversies - Technical skills in FAS 109, unitary filing, apportionment methodologies, tax base rules, tax research, compliance, and consulting for multi-state jurisdictions - Experience in building and maintaining client relationships - Ability to communicate value propositions and manage resources, budgets, and project workflows - Experience as a team leader, with a focus on trust, diverse perspectives, and coaching - Proven success as a tax technical business advisor, with the ability to develop new relationships and introduce new services - Familiarity with a CRM system (preferred) - Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment - Innovative mindset and experience working with large, complex data sets and data visualization tools - Understanding of alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies PwC is committed to transforming the way we deliver tax services, and we invite you to learn more about our Tax Career Page at and how we work at .
