Job Overview: A law firm in South Jordan, UT, is seeking a seasoned professional to join as a Partner. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in Auto and/or General Liability practice, possess a portable business book, and demonstrate a strong background in insurance defense litigation. The Partner will play a crucial role in the firm's success, contributing to its growth and reputation within the legal community.

Duties:

• Handle Auto and/or General Liability cases focusing on insurance defense litigation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound and strategic legal advice.
• Engage in motion practice, effectively handling discovery disputes, and preparing for trials.
• Conduct depositions, make court appearances, and oversee trial preparation.
• Demonstrate strong oral advocacy and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Auto and/or General Liability practice.
• A portable book of business of any size is required.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• An active member in good standing with the State Bar of Utah.
• 6 years of litigation experience in insurance defense.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Utah.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Auto and/or General Liability practice.
• Proven track record in insurance defense litigation.
• Proficiency in motion practice, discovery dispute resolution, and trial preparation.
• Excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills.
• Ability to generate and maintain a portable book of business.
