A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney for its Richmond office. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience and possess substantial litigation skills, particularly in employment law.

Job Overview:
The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of employment-related litigation matters, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage disputes. The candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates to manage cases from inception through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, participating in discovery, and representing clients in court.

Duties:
• Manage a caseload of employment litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various employment law issues.
• Participate in all phases of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and preparing witnesses for depositions and trials.
• Represent clients in state and federal court hearings and mediations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and client communication.
• Stay current on developments in employment law and attend continuing legal education seminars as necessary.

Requirements:
• 8 years of litigation experience, with a focus on employment law required.
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
• Admitted to the State Bar.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Certifications:
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar.
