Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney to join our legal team as a Corporate Counsel for our rapidly growing transportation and technology businesses. This role will primarily support our Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) program and serve as counsel on a variety of legal matters related to the program. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting edge legal issues and make a significant impact on the future of Amazon's transportation operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience, a Juris Doctor degree, and membership in one state bar or equivalent. Experience in both corporate law firm and in-house work is preferred. This role requires the ability to work effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous situations, as well as strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

As a Corporate Counsel for Transportation and WW Operations, you will have the opportunity to:

- Advise on partner relations, driver experience and safety, regulatory and compliance issues, contract negotiations, and pre-litigation dispute resolution for the AFP program
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in a business-centric manner and build processes to address risk and enable business flexibility
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support and manage programs on a global scale
- Have the potential for domestic and international travel

This position is open to candidates in multiple locations, including Arlington, VA, New York, NY, and Seattle, WA. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across different geographic markets in the US, with a base pay range of $123,100/year to $229,000/year. Pay may vary based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
