Meta, a leading technology company, is seeking a talented attorney to join our privacy legal team as a Lead Counsel for AI Privacy. As a subject matter expert in artificial intelligence, you will have the opportunity to advise our product, business, and legal teams on emerging privacy requirements. This position is available in multiple locations including Los Angeles, CA; Austin, TX; Menlo Park, CA; Seattle, WA; Burlingame, CA; Washington, DC; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; and Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a company expert on global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations
- Assess and execute plans for complying with new AI laws
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
- . degree and membership in at least one US state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience with internet or technology companies
- Business judgment and client counseling experience
- Familiarity with AI technologies and global privacy and AI-related laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on AI-powered products
- Ability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines
- Strong project management skills
- Proven ability to collaborate in a multi-stakeholder environment and drive high-impact projects
- Demonstrated initiative in finding solutions cross-functionally

Salary Information:
- $167,000/year to $233,000/year base salary
- Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, and sales incentives based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location
