A law firm is seeking a Mid-level Litigation and Environmental Law Associate Attorney based in Long Beach, California.

Job Overview:

The Mid-level Litigation and Environmental Law Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in litigation matters from case inception through pre-trial with minimal oversight. They will conduct pre-litigation case intake, analyze and evaluate cases, devise legal arguments and defenses, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, discovery, and motions, comply with court rules and procedures, and support senior attorneys on various legal matters.

Duties:

• Representing clients in litigation matters from the case's inception through pre-trial with minimal oversight.
• Conducting pre-litigation case intake, analysis, and evaluations.
• Analyzing complex fact patterns and devising technical and legal arguments and defenses.
• Engaging in legal research and analysis.
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Complying with state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Providing support to senior attorneys on various legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• California Bar license.

Skills:
