Job Overview:

  • Make a meaningful contribution to the strategic growth of key practices.
  • Handle a diverse range of secured lending matters.
  • Serve as a key member of deal teams, managing signings, closings, and drafting debt commitment papers.

 

Duties:

  • Manage secured lending matters, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, restructuring, and general corporate finance.
  • Take responsibility for running signings and closings.
  • Draft debt commitment papers and credit documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Admitted to and a member in good standing of the Texas Bar.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience as a key member of deal teams preferred.
  • Exposure to direct lending, special situation financings, and restructuring helpful.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to and membership in good standing of the Texas Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of secured lending matters.
  • Ability to manage complex deal teams effectively.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of private equity-related corporate finance transactions is a plus.
