Job Overview: A law firm in Boise, ID is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Law Attorney with a strong background in commercial transactions, corporate legal matters, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience and a Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.

Job Duties:

• Work closely with corporate clients, business unit leaders, business partners, as well as outside advisors and CPAs.
• Handle commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, and corporate legal matters.
• Manage due diligence, data rooms, and preparation of disclosure schedules.
• Address corporate matters for closely held private companies, including formations, governance, and maintenance, as well as public companies, including fundraising and securities.
• Interact comfortably with management and work independently, demonstrating strong drafting skills and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Distribute work and manage support provided by associate attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff.
• Display commitment to professionalism, flexibility to schedule for meeting transaction timelines and solid business acumen.
• Manage high-pressure, time-sensitive, and complex business transactions.
• Conduct legal research and maintain excellent writing skills.
• Market the firm’s services to prospective clients.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of commercial transactions and corporate legal experience.
• Experience in managing due diligence, data rooms, and preparing disclosure schedules.
• Previous tax and securities experience is a plus.
• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association-accredited law school.
• Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the ID Bar.
