A law firm in San Diego, California, is seeking a Traditional Labor Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate will primarily focus on traditional labor matters, including union organizing campaigns, client training and counseling on labor issues, assisting with grievance arbitrations, managing unfair labor practice charges, representing clients in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) trials, and drafting policies.

 

Job Duties:

  • Manage union organizing campaigns and related activities.
  • Train and counsel clients on traditional labor issues.
  • Assist with grievance arbitrations.
  • Handle unfair labor practice charges.
  • Represent clients in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) trials.
  • Draft and review labor-related policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in the state of California and in good standing.
  • Must meet continuing licensure requirements for law practice during employment.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding academic credentials preferred (Top 25% of class).

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
