A law firm in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Junior Supervising Attorney to oversee various operational aspects of the firm's activities, including reviewing and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting quality assurance (QA) reviews of negotiator calls, and supervising negotiation activities. The ideal candidate will report directly to and collaborate with the Supervising Attorney and must be licensed to practice law in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.

 

Duties:

  • Review and recommend revisions to the Firm’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) reviews of negotiator calls with creditors.
  • Supervise negotiation activities and coordinate settlement review by respective attorneys.
  • Conduct regular meetings with firm-employed negotiators to discuss recent trends and creditor issues.
  • Assist in resolving escalated matters, including negotiation supervision and staff management.
  • Supervise the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for negotiators and staff.
  • Generate reports for firm management detailing training, performance, negotiations, and creditor issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws and rules of professional conduct, advising firm management accordingly.
  • Develop and comply with firm rules, procedures, and policies as directed.
  • Create, review, implement, and provide document templates and performance reports as requested.
  • Participate in and supervise the entry of litigation settlements, coordinating with defense counsel and staff.
  • Attend and contribute to firm leadership meetings, either in person or remotely.

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in good standing with the Arizona State Bar.
  • Experience with Excel and/or Salesforce is a plus.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
