Job Overview:

The Foreclosure Attorney will provide knowledge and experience to oversee and manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters. They will be responsible for expediting the firm’s files while liaising between the firm and various stakeholders. The position requires adherence to applicable foreclosure rules and the firm’s established timelines and objectives. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain a professional demeanor.

Duties:

  • Provide oversight and management of high-volume statewide foreclosure matters.
  • Ensure all appropriate actions are taken to expedite the firm’s files.
  • Act as a liaison between the firm and clients, vendors, outside counsel, courts, trustees, and other foreclosure personnel.
  • Manage files by applicable foreclosure rules and firm-established timelines.
  • Work within the firm’s case management system to create, manage, and review daily and weekly reports.
  • Review and execute various pleadings and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate updates in client and firm management systems.
  • Outline, prepare, and present pleadings and other legal documents.
  • Argue the merits of assigned cases at hearings, conferences, mediations, or trials.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
  • Experience practicing law, preferably in foreclosure or real estate law.
  • Strong knowledge of foreclosure rules and procedures.
  • Familiarity with case management systems and legal research tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and listening skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult/delicate issues with diplomacy and tact.
  • Professional and ethical conduct with a positive attitude and superior work ethic.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, take initiative, and adapt to change.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certification in Real Estate Law or Foreclosure Law (desired).
