A law firm is seeking a Private Companies Resource Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and benefits:

Job Overview:

The Private Companies Resource Attorney will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and curating legal resources and documents and staying updated on legal developments in Private Companies, Life Sciences Regulatory, and Digital Health practices. The role involves collaborating with attorneys and other stakeholders, developing training materials, and contributing to various projects within the firm.

Duties:

  • Prepare, improve, annotate, and automate template documents.
  • Curate and organize forms, precedents, and other legal resources.
  • Develop training materials and educational content in the practice group.
  • Coordinate with lawyers and other personnel to ensure review and updating of practice resources.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments and prepare summaries and alerts.
  • Develop content for external-facing resources and publications.
  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents and templates.
  • Participate in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed attorney.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a US corporate/transactional practice.
  • Well-developed skill set in working with larger, later-stage private companies and related transactions.
  • Background or interest in life sciences and digital health preferred.
  • Strong drafting skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Experience in running closings and coordinating due diligence/disclosures on transactions.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with technology and innovation in legal practices.
