A reputable law firm in South Burlington is seeking a dedicated Foreclosure Attorney to become an essential part of their dynamic practice. If you possess a Juris Doctor degree, are admitted to the Bar in the State of Vermont (admission in other New England states is a plus), and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, then apply. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee and manage all stages of the foreclosure process in Vermont, representing the interests of mortgage lenders and/or servicers.
As a Foreclosure Attorney with the firm, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and working closely with support staff to complete judicial mortgage foreclosures in the State of Vermont. Your responsibilities will encompass drafting and reviewing all necessary documentation, including notices, correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents. You will efficiently prepare and respond to inquiries or disputes, attend and argue motions and hearings before the courts, and represent mortgage lenders and/or servicers in all stages of foreclosure proceedings. Your ability to provide legal counsel to foreclosure clients and attend mediation sessions will be highly valued.
The successful candidate must possess a Juris Doctor degree and be admitted to the Bar in the State of Vermont (admission in other New England states is a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to navigate complex legal matters and provide guidance to large and complex clients.
