  • Build and maintain a practice around tax matters.

 

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in a law firm or clerkship setting.
  • Prior experience in a law firm environment is preferred.
  • Admitted to practice in the state.
  • Excellent academic background.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills.
  • Extensive experience in tax and transactional matters.
  • Proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, multistate tax issues, and federal, state, and local tax controversies.
  • Familiarity with global transactions, restructurings, private equity, and venture capital.
  • Knowledge of due diligence reviews, federal and state tax incentives, technical research, tax return compliance, and employee benefits.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the state.
