A law firm in San Diego is seeking a Senior Employment Class Action Attorney to fight for clients in cases involving employee misclassification, wage violations, and other worker rights violations. The Senior Employment Class Action Attorney will have the opportunity to lead cases and secure significant settlements and verdicts for clients. They will be responsible for drafting legal documents, developing case strategies, taking depositions, and representing clients in wage and hour matters.

 

Duties:

  • Fight for clients in employee misclassification, overtime wage violations, and other worker rights violation cases.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Develop and present arguments in wage and hour matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Exercise common sense in complex legal situations.
  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Employment Class Action.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Superior analytical and legal research skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
