Job Duties:

  • Represent sponsors, developers, borrowers, lenders, or investors in project finance and structured asset-based finance transactions.
  • Assist with secured lending, tax equity, LLC financings, and joint ventures.
  • Draft and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents related to project finance transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel on regulatory compliance and risk management matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis as necessary.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior lawyers to develop and implement legal strategies.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
  • 3-6 years of transactional experience, preferably in project finance or related areas.
  • Experience working in a major law firm environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of finance and corporate law principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
