The position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience, with a focus on medical devices and mechanical products.

Duties:

• Conduct patent preparation and prosecution activities related to medical devices and mechanical engineering.
• Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and clients to understand the technical aspects of inventions.
• Perform legal research to support patent prosecution efforts.
• Draft legal documents, including patent applications and responses to office actions.
• Communicate with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Possess a high level of academic achievement.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
• Bachelor's degree in biomedical or mechanical engineering.
• Alternatively, candidates with other engineering disciplines and substantial patent experience in medical devices and/or mechanical products will be considered.
• Admission to the USPTO is required.

Certifications:
