Duties:

  • Advocate for clients' rights and deliver outstanding legal services.
  • Focus on environmental law practice and regular litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
  • Perform legal research on environmental law and related areas.
  • Make court appearances as necessary.
  • Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law.
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental/toxic torts preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, and Microsoft Office, and familiarity with e-discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, and FileVine.
