Deloitte is currently seeking a Tax Senior for our Business Tax Services Tax-Exempt practice. This position can be located in any of our 20 locations across the United States. Salary Information:
- The disclosed range estimate for this role is $63,420 to $144,300, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances and it is not typical for someone to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
- Eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program may also be available, based on various factors including individual and organizational performance.

Tax Senior, Business Tax Services - Tax-Exempt

Experience Information:
- 3+ years of experience in federal taxation, with a strong emphasis on tax-exempt organizations (501(c)(3)s and 501(c)(4)s) within a variety of industries including health care, private foundations, and other non-profit organizations.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 or large CPA firm is preferred.
- Advanced degree in tax, law, or finance is also preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and consulting services to non-profit clients, including health care providers or plans, private foundations, public charities, higher educational institutions, and other non-profit organizations.
- Advise clients on a variety of tax issues, including tax compliance, business restructuring, exemption strategies, philanthropic and charitable giving planning, and tax controversy.
- Oversee federal tax compliance and consulting projects for a variety of entities and their affiliates.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with like-minded Tax-Exempt specialists from across the country on a regular basis.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or other business-related field.
- Active accreditation as a CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent is preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain one.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, based on the work and clients served.
