Job Overview:

The Employment Litigation Associate Attorney will handle various aspects of employment litigation cases, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, motion practice, deposition preparation, and trial work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and litigation, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic legal team.

Duties:

  • Drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
  • Preparing and arguing motions related to employment litigation matters.
  • Conducting and defending depositions.
  • Managing electronic discovery and ESI (Electronically Stored Information).
  • Providing legal research and analysis on employment law issues.
  • Assisting in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in employment litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated interest in employment law.
  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in employment law, restrictive covenants, and trade secrets litigation.
  • Familiarity with Arizona court procedures and rules.
  • Experience with electronic discovery software and litigation support tools.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful case outcomes and client representation.
