Job Summary

As AVP Counsel, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to Voya's mutual funds, compliance with regulatory requirements, and interactions with the Securities and Exchange Commission. You will also work closely with the Board of Trustees and other affiliated service providers. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Attorney to join a dynamic and sophisticated mutual funds practice.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and advise on issues related to Federal securities laws
- Oversee interactions with the Securities and Exchange Commission and regulatory filings
- Provide legal services to support Management's work with the Board of Trustees
- Assist in the conduct of board meetings and preparation of necessary documents
- Support Management's compliance function

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor Degree required
- Minimum of 6 years of legal experience, preferably in the investment management industry
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote platforms
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

- Annual base salary range of $145,600 - $182,000 USD
- Incentive opportunities based on performance
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans
- 401(k) savings plan with company matching contributions

- Paid volunteer time
