Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to technology, intellectual property, and life sciences transactions.
  • Draft and review contracts and agreements, including mergers and acquisitions documents, collaboration agreements, license agreements, outsourcing agreements, and joint venture agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients on transactional matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in due diligence processes for corporate transactions, with a focus on identifying and assessing intellectual property and technology-related issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives and facilitate successful transaction outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Technology and IP Transactional Attorney.
  • Proven experience in life sciences transactions and broader technology and intellectual property transactions.
  • Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions processes and documentation.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar.
