Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Attorney to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in civil litigation, exceptional research and writing abilities, and a proven track record of success in managing cases from inception through trial.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as:
    • Working at a computer for extended periods, including on-screen reading and typing.
    • Participating in digital/virtual conference calls.
    • Participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court is preferred.
  • Experience handling multi-district litigation is a plus.
  • Trial experience.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the State Bar of Arizona or eligible for admission.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficient in legal software and research tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
