As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to represent the Company in litigation and other legal proceedings, as well as provide guidance to our team of attorneys. Position Summary: As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for representing the Company in respective state courts where you are licensed to practice. This includes utilizing case management software, collecting facts and evidence, trying cases, and performing other litigation-related tasks. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Key Responsibilities: - Litigate on behalf of the Company in respective state courts utilizing case management software - Represent the Company and its affiliates in courts of law, collect facts and evidence, try cases, and perform other litigation-related tasks - Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies - Prepare legal documents, develop appropriate strategies, and make necessary arguments with defendants, opposing counsel, and court personnel - Represent the Company at scheduling conferences, mediations, settlement conferences, depositions, hearings, and trials Professional Experience/Qualifications: - Juris Doctor Degree Required - Active member of the bar in the state(s) where practicing - 2+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent - Prior litigation experience preparing and drafting pleadings, participating in all phases of the discovery process, and handling trials required - Familiarity with federal and state laws related to consumer credit and collections - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Effective organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills - High attention to detail - Ability to research, analyze, and interpret legal information - Ability to provide well-researched and accurate legal advice in a timely manner - Ability to develop, improve, and standardize procedures Salary Information: Salary range for this position is $75,,.
