Deloitte is currently seeking a highly motivated Tax Senior with experience in investment management and private wealth to join our growing Private Wealth Tax practice. This position will require working in the West Region Office Locations.

Position Summary:

The Tax Senior will be responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns. They will also provide solutions to complex tax issues and perform high-level reviews of tax research for various entities.

What You’ll Do:

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns
- Prepare for and assist in client meetings regarding tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions
- Deliver compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns
- Provide solutions to complex tax issues
- Travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served

Qualifications:

Required:

- 3+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and clients served

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Prior Big 4 experience
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Experience managing projects including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing
- Excellent technology (., Microsoft Excel and compliance software), research, and writing skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to articulate conclusions, planning opportunities, and risks identified through research projects

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The estimated range for this role is $63,420 to $144,300. However, the actual salary may vary based on individual qualifications and the location at which the position is filled.
