Job Description:
- This position is for a Manager in the Financial Services Tax practice at PwC
- The role involves advising clients on tax obligations and helping them understand the impact of tax on their business, both locally and globally
- The Manager will work as part of a team to solve complex business issues and develop new skills outside of their comfort zone
- They will also be responsible for coaching and developing team members, as well as upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
- The Manager will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and tools to provide value to clients through automation and increased efficiencies
- They will also be expected to develop new relationships and introduce clients to new services, while maintaining a "One Firm" service mindset
- This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a CPA or Bar membership
- A Master's degree is preferred
- Experience with a CRM system is also preferred

Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on tax issues related to the insurance industry
- Provide technical expertise in areas such as FAS 109, FIN 48, and tax compliance
- Identify and address client needs, build and maintain client relationships, and communicate value propositions
- Manage resources, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections
- Coach and develop team members, providing timely and meaningful feedback
- Stay informed about global trends and their impact on clients
- Use data and insights to inform decisions and provide recommendations
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA or Bar membership
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounting
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues in the insurance industry
- Experience with FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with a CRM system preferred
